Rice has a leading role on dining tables in Asia. With healthy food and wellness on the rise, rice is once again in vogue as a go-to food staple. Bombom is helping to establish a new culture of eating delicious rice in the UK. Our rice uses single variety grains from local Korean farms, resulting in a much better taste! Loaded with fibre and vegan protein, the taste is unbeatable. When freshly steamed it becomes fluffy and sticky. Its sweetness makes it perfect to cook kimbap, bibimbap, sushi and risotto.



Ingredients: medium grain rice (100% Korean product) 


How to make the perfect Korean steamed rice  (1 portion = 100g of rice)

As cooking rice is something that should be done daily, there’s no reason it should be an arduous task. A rice cooker, pressure cooker or simple pot is all you need!


If you use a pot… 

1.  Gently rinse and drain rice until the drained water is clear.

2.  Add 100ml of water to a pot and soak the rice for 10 minutes (100g of rice requires 100ml of water).

3. Bring to a boil over high heat for about 5 minutes with the lid opened. Close the lid, cook for another 10 minutes over lower medium heat.



 Store in a cool dry place away from sunlight
